{One}  Happy Birthday to my Grandma and Grandpa Hunt!  It's hard to believe that they were both born on the same day just 3 years apart.  I don't know what the stats are but I seriously think that there is only a small percent of the earth's population who share a birthday with their spouse.  I've always thought it was neatest thing!

 

 

{Two}  Urban Decay Eye Primer:  I recently discovered this product when Sephora was giving out free samples.  My mom had been using it for years but this was the first time I've tried it.  It is seriously the best primer I have ever used.  I put it on in the morning and when I go to take off my makeup at night my eyeshadow is still perfectly intact.
 

 

{Three} Old Navy Flats:  While doing a little bit of Christmas shopping for Kev I ran across these flats on the clearance rack.  I had eyed them for a while but seeing them just hanging there for only $13 I knew I had to make them mine!

{Four}  Last Christmas Kev and I decided that we should start collecting a special ornament from each place we traveled.  It's really been a neat way to reminice on all our trips together. Here is a pic of some of our favorites from this year.

 

{Five}  Pinterest Cookies:  Recently I've been eyeing down some cookie recipies on Pinterest.  Here aresome of  my favorites.

I hope everyone has had a fabulous week.  Sorry things have been pretty silent on my front. With the holidays coming up things have been pretty hectic.  I am also in the Fantasy Football playoffs in my fiancé's league.  This leads us to my first thing!

 

{One}  I have been playing in my fiancés fantasy football league for 2 years now.  While I know it might not be the most productive thing to do I have an extreme love for anything competitive!  This year I have been working hard to make it to the playoffs because I would love nothing more than to beat my fiancé and his friends at their own game.  Since I'm officially in the playoffs I decided to write a little rap to show them I am a top competitor.  I will probably regret this one day! Enjoy!

 

 

{Two}  I am so excited that me and my friend Brittany are going to see Florida Georgia Line this weekend.  They are one of my favorite groups and I'm pumped to see them live again.

 

 

 

{Three}  My Christmas decorating is officially in full swing.  I have been hitting hobby lobby hard this week.  They have had 50% off of all Christmas related items and I have taken full advantage of this .  Here's a couple of items I've completed so far.

 

 

 

{Four}  My favorite thing about Netflix is that it allows me to discover new TV shows and binge watch the episodes!  If I want to watch a season in one day it's totally cool.  Recently I have gotten hooked on One Tree Hill.  I know I'm nearly a decade behind the game but I love it!  I just started season 3 only 5 more to go.

 

 

 

{Five}  Starbucks Peppermint Mochas are back and I am in heaven!  That is all I can say!

1.  Wine and Design

This past Wednesday I got the chance to attend my first Wine and Design Class.  Wine and Design studios are popping up all over NC.  For our class we painted a snowy cabin scene.  I have never considered myself artistic but I was very pleased with how mine came out.  Luckily we had a great instructor.  I plan on doing a more in-depth post soon.  This class helped me knock my number 8 item off my 30 for 30 list!

 

 

 

2.  EOS Lip Balm

In the link-up last Friday I came across one blogger talking about how much she loved EOS lip balm.  I had always wanted to try it so when I read her review I decided it was time.  After work that day I stopped by the store and picked up the mint flavor and I am absolutely in love!  My lips have never been more smooth and there is no denying how cute the packaging is!

 

 

3.  Century 21 Clothing

When I was in NYC back in August a tour guide told me about the Century 21 clothing store.  Century 21 offers designer items at a discount price.  While I never had a chance to go in NYC, I have been frequenting their website www.c21stores.com/.   I am especially fond of their purse selection!  I love Nine West totes and mini bags and I was amazed that most of their offerings were around $30. 

 

 

4.H&M Grand Opening

I am so excited that H&M is finally opening a store in my local mall.  I have been anxiously awaiting the grand opening since I saw the banner for it a few months ago.  While sadly I was working yesterday when the location opened  I plan on dragging Kev over there for some shopping tonight.  I'm telling myself to practice self control but I feel a shopping spree coming on!

 

 

5. $19 Old Navy Ankle Boots

I just got an email this morning saying that on Saturday only all ankle boots at Old Navy will be only $19.  This is more than 50% off their regular price.  I bought a red suede pair from their last month and they are so comfortable.  I am actually wearing them at this very moment.  I'm flirting with the idea of snagging the black pair tomorrow but we shall see.

{ONE}  I'll be spending this weekend up in Green Bay, Wisconsin with Kev and his parents.  We'll be flying out early tomorrow morning and flying back Monday night.  When I tell people about my Wisconsin trip the first question I get is why are you going there?!....  Kev's dad was born and raised there and all his family members are die hard Green Bay Packers Fans.  This weekend  we will be sitting 3rd row at Lambeau Field to see the Packer's crush the Eagles.  This will also knock another thing off of my 30 for 30 list!  While I'm sure it will be much colder up there than what I used to here in NC I am excited for my first mid-west trip!

 

 

{TWO} So I know I'm about a day late on this topic but I'm still talking about the CMA's Wednesday night.  I really believe this was the best show yet! I could go on a rant all day about the performances but instead here's a rundown of my favorite CMA outfits. 

 

{THREE}  I'm so excited for the holidays this year.  I started adding to my Christmas Pinterest board the day after Halloween.  Here are a few of my favorite Christmas ideas so far:

 

 

 

{FOUR}  A few days ago I was perusing Amazon looking for a new book to read.  One of my favorite books to date is Mindy Kahling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me.  Based on my love for that book Amazon recommended My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me. A real life story about a girl whose ex boyfriend wrote a unflattering book about her.  She really showed him when she wrote her own book and it became a best seller! It should be arriving any day now and I am beyond excited to read it.  

 

 

{FIVE}  Last week my friend asked me if I had heard I Ariana Grande. I gave her a google and found this song of her featuring Mac Miller and I must say I am hooked!  So I'll leave you with this tune for Friday!

5 on Friday

 

I can't believe Friday is already here.  This week has really flown by!  Once again I'm linking up for the 5 on Friday so lets get this thing started...

 

 

 

{ONE} I am beyond excited for tomorrow night!  I'm going to see Hunter Hayes in concert!  I bought these tickets back in June so it has been quite the wait.  I fell in love with Hunter the first time I heard Wanted on the radio and I am so excited to see the Let's Be Crazy Tour! 

 

 

 

  {TWO} I have recently fell in love with That's Heart VBlog on Youtube.  She does an awesome mix of fashion and beauty how tos.  Recently I stumbled across a segment of three hair styles to do when you're running  late.  They are super easy.  I tried out the all around braid but insead of leaving my hair down I did a curled side pony.

 

Sadly there was no one home to take a picture of the back of my hair but trust me it worked well.  For now I'll show you my awkward side view picture.

{THREE} I left my comfort zone this week and bought a new mascara.  I have been in a long committed relationship with Great Lash for 10+ years now but when I got a great coupon on Sunday I decided it was time to try something new! I picked up Maybelline Volume Express and the rest was history.  I swear it has made my eyelashes look 100 times fuller in just one week.  I would recommend it to anyone!

 

 

{Four}  With my wedding 7 months away I have decided to officially kick off my work out regimen.  I would like to refer to this as my Sweating for the Dress Challenge!   It will be hard but my plan is to cut out all the junk food I eat and hit the gym 5 days out of the week.  We'll see how this goes but luckily I have my fiancé and my friend Brittany there to push me and make me get rid of my candy stash!  So here's to a healthier me!

 

 

 

{FIVE}  A couple of days ago I came across all my mix cd's from high school.  Even though I should probably be embarrassed by some of my music choices I couldn't help but get my dance on to some of these songs.  The cd I've been jamming to in my car this week was from 2006.  I was just a high school sophomore!  Now I feel super old!  One of my favorite songs I was reintroduced to was Ashlee Simpsons L.O.V.E.  So I'll leave you guys with this gem

So this is my first Five on Friday and I am so excited to link up with so many wonderful bloggers.    Here's what I loving this Friday

 

 

 

1.  With Halloween coming up next Thursday Kev and I decided to throw a little party tonight.  We are now officially too old to celebrate Halloween on a work night, we'll leave that to all the college kids and trick or treaters.  I'm so excited to see all our friends costumes.  We take the holiday pretty seriously.  Kev was so pumped that he had to test out his costume a few days early.  I present Napoleon Dynamite!  

 

 

2.  For the party tonight I plan on testing out some things I saw on Pinterest.  Check out these recipes:

 

 

 

3.  Saturday is the Annual BBQ Festival in Lexington.  This is one of the biggest festivals in NC.  It always hosts a free concert with some of the top country music superstars and this years line up does not disappoint.  Tomorrow I'll see Darius Rucker, Joe Nichols, Brett Eldredge and Corey Smith take the stage and did I mention  it's FREE!!!

 

 

4.  This week Kev and I got creative with some pumpkins.  Carving is so overrated!  Allow me to present to you our Angry Bird and Polka Dot Painted Pumpkins.
