Carolina Panther's Game
This past Sunday Kev and I got the chance to go to a Carolina Panther's game. This has become somewhat of a fall tradition since we went to our 1st game together a few years ago. There is nothing like seeing an NFL game live. This particular game they were playing the Rams. This game actually proved to be the most exciting of the season thus far. Here's a glimpse of the fun we had.

6. See Taylor Swift in Concert
Oh Hey Tay Tay.....My experience at the Red Tour
So being this is one of my first posts I should probably introduce you to an important fact about myself. I have a completely shameless obsession with Taylor Swift. I know what your thinking "Isn't 23 a little old to be a giant T. Swift fan?" ...and to that I will answer you with absolutely not! I have adored Taylor since her first album came out when I was in 10th grade. With this said you will probably be surprised when I tell you that I have never been to one of her concerts. "Gasp" Unfortunately every time she came through NC I was tied down with something like college or work. So when I saw in January that she would be in Greensboro this September I joined her fan club and anxiously awaited the presale. Unfortunately when the tickets went on sale I was unable to get any at the under $100 price level. I was Crushed!!!
Months passed and eventually September rolled around. I called local radio stations 100's of times trying to win tickets with absolutely no luck. When the day of the concert came I moped around work knowing that I would not be in the coliseum that night. That afternoon I decided to give Ticketmaster one more go and search for tickets. To my astonishment 2 seats came up for $43 a piece!!!! How lucky did I get!
That night my fiancé, Kevin and I headed to the Greensboro Coliseum for what turned out to be the greatest concert of my life....
While originally I thought I was just Taylor and Ed Sherren on the tour I was pleasantly surprised with their opener Casey James. He had a really good country pop sound and he had all the girls screaming.
Following Casey was Ed Sheeren! I wasn't quite sure about him on The Red Tour but he was amazing. Before the show I only knew one song of his but I can now say with confidence that all his music is legit. He played as a one man band and mixed pitch perfect vocals with reggae type rap. While I'm not quite sure that Taylor's younger fans and their parents enjoyed him, I give him the Courtney Seal of Approval.
Finally it was time for the Queen herself. From the start of her set everything from the stage setting to the costume changes were completely flawless. She look perfect and her vocals could not have been any better. I even caught my "non-Taylor Swift loving" fiancé clapping along. I mean who could hate of T-Swift.
Over all the show was nothing short of amazing. It was a true Taylor Swift Miracle.
There goes #6 on my 30 for 30 list

Weekend Recap
Happy Monday Everyone,
A more appropriate greeting would have read, "eww it's Monday" but I'm trying to stay positive. So this past weekend was pretty awesome here in CourtneyLand. "Courtney Land" what am I 12. Anyway here's a little weekend recap on what went down in my neck of the woods.
Friday evening was quite relaxing. Kev's parents were out of town and we had doggie duty. I will now introduce Miss Marni. She's a total sweetheart.
Kev was especially happy this Friday when he found a package on his doorsteps. He apparently ordered authentic Green Bay Packer receiving gloves. The price scared me but I will admit they look pretty cool.
Saturday was activity packed. I started off the morning bright and early and headed out with Brittany and her mom to the annual Women's Only 5k in Greensboro. The 5k raises funds and awareness for breast cancer prevention and treatment. This was our 2nd year at the event and we were pumped to put in our 3.2 miles in.
After the race and a Panera lunch I headed over to Kev's. While I was tired, Kev was ready to get outside. After some coxing he talked me into going kayaking at Lake Brandt. It was a beautiful day so I couldn't oppose.
That night I insisted we do nothing but sit, so we got on Netflix and picked out what I was hoping to be a scary movie. After much debating we landed on House at the End of the Street with J. Law and the cute brother from Bates Motel. Overall I thought it was really good. Even Kev couldn't hate. The ending had a perfect twist. I recommend you'd give it a Netflix.
Sunday was my relaxing day this weekend. I spent the morning catching up on my shows...
and my afternoon reading
And that evening mom and I cooked fantastic supper
All and all it was a great weekend!

30 Before 30
I got into blogging because I loved reading blogs myself. My favorite part about reading a person's blog is that it gives you a glimpse into the life of someone who is otherwise a complete stranger....As I write this I realize that I may be sounding a little creepish but I promise that is not my intention. But really, I love seeing what other people are doing because it always generates new ideas for myself. One thing that I have recently caught many of my twenty something counterparts doing is the 30 for 30 challenge. If you are not familiar with this it is essentially where you select 30 things/goals that you would like to complete before your 30th birthday. In this section I plan to post my list and document as things get complete. So cheers to 30 for 30! Hopefully the next 7 years will be filled with tons of fun. Wish me luck!

Barring any extreme circumstances I plan on doing this May 2014
2. Go to the Mall of America
Hopefully from the title of my blog you are aware that I am quite the shopper
3. Go to the Xgames
Although I am disappointed that ESPN chose Austin, TX over Charlotte, NC to host the 2014-2016 games I will still be there to support my man Ryan Sheckler
4. Take Kevin to Disney World
